On the morning of March 17, 2024, Zhang Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, led a delegation to Guangzhou Sailong Additive Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for an on-site research visit.
The delegation visited the company’s exhibition hall and full-process production line, and listened to a briefing by General Manager Wang Qiangbing on the company’s production and operations, technological breakthroughs, and development strategy. The delegation recognized the company’s core technologies and exemplary product applications.
During the symposium, Chen Xiaochao, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Additive Manufacturing Association, together with Wang Qiangbing, General Manager of the company, provided Secretary Zhang Jianhua with a detailed overview of the overall development of the additive manufacturing industry both domestically and internationally, with particular focus on Guangdong Province. They also conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the prospects of cluster development for the additive manufacturing industry in Guangzhou, the existing challenges, and the directions for future advancement.
Secretary Zhang Jianhua remarked that the visit had been highly rewarding. He emphasized that government departments will provide targeted policy support and enterprise services to address the company’s needs in areas such as medical device registration and certification, upstream and downstream industry resources, national “Little Giant” (specialized and innovative enterprise) cultivation, and financing, thereby jointly promoting the high-quality development of Guangzhou’s additive manufacturing industry cluster.
The research visit was accompanied by Zhang Junming, Director of the Equipment Industry Division of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; Wang Chunyi, Director of the Automotive Industry Division of the Bureau; Zhang Ya, Fourth-level Investigator of the Equipment Industry Division of the Bureau; and Chen Xiaochao, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Additive Manufacturing Association.
