On October 23–24, 2025, the 15th China Steel Annual Conference was successfully held in Beijing, jointly organized by the Chinese Society for Metals (CSM) and MCC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation. During this event, CSM officially announced the establishment of the inaugural committee of its Additive Manufacturing Branch. The branch brings together leading domestic universities, research institutes, technology enterprises, and key application organizations, including 57 authoritative institutions such as Beihang University, Tsinghua University, Institute of Metal Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Aero Engine Corporation of China.
Since its establishment in 2018, Saishu Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SAISU Technology," formerly known as Guangzhou Sailong Additive Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) has consistently focused on technological breakthroughs and industrialization across the entire metal additive manufacturing industry chain. Due to its technical strength and progress in industrialization within the field of metal additive manufacturing, the company was successfully selected as an inaugural member unit of the CSM Additive Manufacturing Branch Committee. Concurrently, the company’s Chief Scientist, Professor Huiping Tang, was elected as the Deputy Chair of the branch’s inaugural committee, while the company’s founder and General Manager, Professor Qiangbing Wang, and Director Professor Shifeng Liu were elected as members of the inaugural committee.
This selection as an inaugural member unit represents high recognition from the industry for SAISU Technology’s capabilities in technological innovation and application transformation. As a member of the committee, SAISU Technology will actively participate in industry standard formulation, technical exchanges, and collaborative initiatives, working alongside peers to jointly promote the high-quality development and industrial application of additive manufacturing technology in China.
